Advocating and Campaigning

In addition to providing frontline services for women, we actively engage in advocacy and campaigning to advance social, political, and legal reforms that address the systemic factors contributing to and sustaining the prostitution and sex trafficking of women and girls. Our organisation is dedicated to raising public awareness, challenging gender inequality and gender-based violence, and promoting meaningful improvements in the lives of all women and girls. Prostitution involves exchanging sexual services for money or other benefits, such as housing, gifts, or goods. In recent years, however, the profile of prostitution in Ireland has changed. The old image of men approaching women on the street has largely disappeared, replaced by a more hidden, complex, and organised industry. Learn more here.
